Description of Improvement

The existing bevel gear box at the spur-gear box of the infeed drive is obsolete and maintenance intensive.

This TIP eliminates the obsolete bevel gearbox, cardan shaft and the bevel gearbox at the 1st belt drive (pull-off) section.

If the sheeter is equipped with a strip cutting unit (for rejected sheets and waste) the bevel gear box will be used further. The new servo drive will be installed at the position of the bevel gearbox at the 1st belt drive section. There are no further mechanical moving parts required. This new configuration causes less influences to the infeed drive system as these are independent systems which both have their own inverter.
